The Kansas City Royals dropped a fourth game in a row and were swept by the Chicago White Sox, falling 6-2 to close out a series with their AL Central foes at Rate Field.

Chicago added two more runs in the third inning, again courtesy of Grichuk and a two RBI single, scoring Chase Meidroth and Miguel Vargas to extend the lead. In the fourth inning, Meidroth also had an RBI single bringing home Luisangel Acuña to push the White Sox lead to 5-1 through four innings.
Kyle Isbel led the seventh inning off with a triple and scored on a groundout by Garcia for the final run by Kansas City. In the eighth inning, an RBI single from Derek Hill drove in Sam Antonacci for the final run of the game.
