On a rainy Saturday night at Phil Welch Stadium, the St Joseph Mustangs fell to the Nevada Griffons 6-1, splitting a short two game homestand against them.
There were no live stats available for this game on the MINK League website. The Mustangs committed four errors and were outhit by the Griffons 7-5. Caden Carter took the loss on the mound, giving up two runs in the first inning, the Mustangs scored their run in the second. A four run sixth inning for Nevada put the game away.
The Mustangs are now 9-6 overall on the season, and 7-5 in MINK League play, next traveling to Chillicothe on Sunday for a matchup with the Mudcats.
