COLE COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just afater 4:30p.m. Sunday in Cole County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 46-year-old Jefferson City man was northbound on Route CC just south of South Moor Court. The vehicle traveled off the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle overturned and the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
