Missouri man injured after semis collide

HARRISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Wednesday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 International semi driven by a 34-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man was stopped in traffic as traffic control six miles north of Eagleville.

A northbound 2023 Kenworth semi driven by a 2023 Kenworth semi driven by a 65-year-old Van Buren, Arkansas man struck the International semi. After impact the Kenworth traveled off the west side of the road.

EMS transported the 34-year-old driver to a hospital in Leon, Iowa. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
