DEKALB COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after noon Thursday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2026 GMC Savana driven by a 43-year-old Escondido, California man was westbound on U.S. 36 one mile north of Osborn. The van traveled off the east side of the road, struck a ditch, a fence, crossed MO 33, struck a second embankment and a parked vehicle.
DeKalb-Clinton County ambulance transported the driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
