James passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, March 25, 2026 at Faith Health in Norfolk. James chose body donation through Live On Nebraska. Memorial Services will be held later this spring/summer. James was a 1971 graduate of Essex High School and the son of the late Loyd and Ruth (Woodruff) Schwartz. He leaves behind his loving sister Faye Simpson of Norfolk.
