Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville will hold a groundbreaking of its new women’s health clinic later this month.

Mosaic announced the ceremony takes place on Tuesday, November 18th at 10 in the morning. The future clinic space will be located in the administration hallway of the hospital.

Community support, including funds raised during the past two St. Francis Foundation Galas, will be used to finance the clinic. Mosaic says the new clinic space “will serve as a cornerstone for accessible, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of women in the region.”

Services offered in the clinic will include preventive care, obstetrics, gynecology, and wellness support.

“This groundbreaking represents more than just the start of construction, it’s a symbol of our commitment to the women of northwest Missouri,” Scott Koelliker president of Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville said in a written statement released by Mosaic. “Thanks to the generosity of our community and the vision of Mosaic, we’re creating a space where women can receive the care they deserve.”

Community members are invited to attend the ceremonial turning of the soil. Light refreshments will be served.
