Mo. lawmakers help House pass proof-of-citizenship requirement for voters

The House of Representatives passed the election integrity overhaul bill on Wednesday. aimed at keeping non-citizens from voting in U.S. federal elections.

The bill passed with a mostly party-line vote, 218-213. GOP Members of the Missouri House delegation voted with the majority. Only one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar, of Texas voted for the bill.

The bill now moves to the Senate.
