Irene Darlene Pankau, passed peacefully in her home, with family by her side November 10, 2025.
Irene was born April 18, 1936, to Leona (Christy) and Elmer England in Clearfield, Iowa and was baptized in the Christian Faith at 14.
Irene had 3 children, Danny, Lynn, James, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter.
Irene married the love of her life Max L. Pankau, sharing 53years before his passing November 11, 2010. They resided in Tucson, AZ 11 years before moving to Maryville, MO and Oxford, MO in 1990.
She worked for Iowa State Hospitals, Arizona Public School System and retired from Energizer Maryville, MO in 1997, after 23 years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 3 children and spouses, sisters, Maxine Round of IA, Fern Pettengill of CA, Richard & Ladonna, Joe, Danny & Linda, Shirley and JoAnna Pankau of MO, and numerous nieces, nephews and families.
