KANSAS CITY —Kansas U.S. Senator Roger Marshall and First District Congressman Tracey Man joined U.S. Transportation Secretary Friday in Kansas City to see the work underway to modernize the air traffic control system.
The visit highlighted investments to strengthen America’s aviation infrastructure. At Kansas City Airport, Marshall and Mann toured the air traffic control tower and saw how $11 million is funding upgrades to communications systems and controller technology.

In Olathe, they visited Indra’s radar manufacturing facility, which is on track to produce 40% of the radars being installed nationwide to help modernize the FAA’s air traffic control network. These investments keep travelers safe, support American manufacturing, and ensure Kansas remains a key player in the future of aviation.
