Mo. man killed when jet skis collide while performing stunts

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Mo. —One person died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Saturday at a lake in Washington County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Polaris personal watercraft driven by a 39-year-old Imperial man was northbound on Crystal Lake at Woodland Lakes. A 40-year-old Arnold man was driving a 2005 Seadoo personal watercraft southbound. The drivers were performing stunts, driving in a curcular formation toward each other. The Polaris struck the driver of the Seadoo and the 40-year-old was ejected into the water.

He pronounced dead at the scene by Missouri Baptist Sullivan EMS personnel and then transported to the Washington County Morgue.
