Robert Neal Sawyer, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Bedford, Iowa, Bob was a cherished resident of Maryville, Missouri, where he spent his later years surrounded by family and friends.
A funeral service to honor Bob's life will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, MO, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Jct., Missouri. Pallbearers will include Mark Thomsen, Scott Nielson, Pete Goudie, Carroll Jones, David McLaughlin, and Kerry Myers. Arrangements are being handled by Bram Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the New Nodaway County Humane Society and the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Missouri.
