CLINTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Honda Odyssey driven by a 35-year-old Lawson man was northbound on northbound on U.S. 69 two miles north of Lawson. The driver slowed to make a left turn onto Route PP and failed to yield to a southbound 2011 Ford Fusion driven by a 39-year-old Lathrop man. The vehicles collided.
Lawson EMS transported the Ford driver to the hospital in Excelsior Springs. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
