Rex Allen Wolfe, 67, of Fillmore, Missouri, passed from this life on Friday, December 26, 2025. Rex was born on November 18, 1958, in Fairfax, Missouri to Frances and Norma (Owens) Wolfe. He married Janet White, May 7, 1989, she survives of the home.
Rex operated a farm with his father and obtained his diesel mechanic certification from Des Moines, Iowa. He was a mechanic for many years including working for St. Joe Diesel and John Deere. He helped open the O’Riley’s Auto Parts store in Savannah. He later enjoyed his years as a grater operator for the Andrew County Highway Department.
Rex loved talking to everyone he met, and he never met a stranger.
Rex is survived by his wife Janet; his son, Weston Wolfe of Fillmore, MO, daughter, Melissa (Tyler) Wheeler, Savannah, MO, and stepdaughter Kristin (Brandon) Rasnic, Fillmore, MO; 8 grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and daughter, Jennifer Lynch.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home of Savannah is in charge of local arrangements.
