HOLT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Saturday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide driven by a 53-year-old Bellevue, Nebraska man was southbound on Interstate 29 five miles south of Mound City. The motorcycle traveled off the east side of the road and struck a traffic sign post.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the driver for treatment of serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
