LIVINGSTON COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Tuesday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2015 Chevy Tahoe driven by a 28-year-old Chillicothe woman was northbound on U.S. 65 at LIV 224 four miles north of Chillicothe. The driver attempted to make a left turn on LIV 224 and traveled into the path of a southbound 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by a 52-year-old Wellington man. The semi struck the passenger side of the SUV. After impact the SUV slid counter clockwise and struck a northbound 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by a 77-year-old Chillicothe man.
EMS transported the SUV driver, her 5-year-old female passenger and the van driver to Hedrick Medical Center. Lifeflight later transferred the SUV driver to Truman Medical Center. The semi driver was not injured. All were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
