DEKALB COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 10:30a.m. Friday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 International Dump Truck driven by a 19-year-old Fletcher, Oklahoma, man was northbound on Route N south of Patton Road four miles west of Amilty. The driver swerved to miss a deer in the road. The truck traveled off the east side of the road. The driver attempted to return to the road and the vehicle overturned.
EMS transported the driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
