ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Friday in Atchison.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox SUV driven by Jaykylah Fanning, 15, Wathena, was westbound on Main Street and was turning south onto 14th Street when a collision occurred with an eastbound 1998 Chrysler van driven by Staci Crowe, 63, Atchison,
Staci Crowe, the only occupant in her vehicle, was transported to Amberwell Hospital by EMS for examination. Neither Jaykylah Fanning or her two passengers were injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police reported no additional details.
