Mozingo Lake Recreation Park has announced a full lineup of events for this Independence Day.
The Optimist Club's youth fishing tournament starts at 8:30, with registration opening at 8 for anyone below the age of 15. Worms will be provided.
Starting at 11, water guns, sand volleyball, Pizza Ranch pizza, and a foam cannon will be out at Mozingo's beach party.
Check-in for a cornhole tournament starts at 3:30, and games begin at 4 PM at the Point. Inflatable bounce houses and face painting will also be there at that time.
Mozingo Bingo starts at 5, at the Host Lions Shelter.
The band The Mixtapes will play live at 7 PM.
Finally, fireworks over Mozingo Lake start at dusk. Mozingo is calling it their biggest display yet.
There will also be a list of local vendors offering up fun, food, drinks, and sweets.
