CAMDEN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 11p.m. Sunday in Camden County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Impala driven by a 19-year-old Steelville man was northbound on MO 5 just north of Dry Hollow Road. The car crossed the center of the road and struck a 2022 Peterbilt semi head-on.
The teen driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home. The 45-year-old Owenville, Missouri semi driver was not injured. The teen was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
