NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — Motorists in Nodaway County should prepare for lane closures and possible delays as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) begins a resurfacing project on U.S. Highway 136 starting Monday, June 10.
The work, led by Herzog Contracting Corporation, will take place in two-mile segments from Route 46 near Ravenwood to Route J near Conception. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during active construction hours, with a pilot car guiding vehicles through the zone.
Crews will be working Monday through Saturday during daylight hours, with the project expected to wrap up by the end of July, weather permitting.
MoDOT encourages drivers to plan ahead, expect delays, and use caution in the work zone. For the latest updates on road work and traffic conditions, visit traveler.modot.org.
