Mo. man, woman injured after SUV strikes pickup's trailer

LIVINGSTON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just 4:30p.m. Monday in Livingston County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Ford Explorer driven by a 27-year-old Jamesport woman was eastbound on Major Avenue one mile southeast of Jamesport.  A Dodge Ram 3500 driven by a 72-year-old Flagler, Colorado man was northbound on 340 Street.  The pickup was already in the uncontrolled intersection. The SUV struck the trailer on the pickup. After impact the pickup's trailer became separated and struck a utility pole.

Daviess County EMS transported the SUV driver to Liberty Hospital. A private vehicle transported a 23-year-old passenger in the SUV to Liberty Hospital.  The pickup driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
