KANSAS CITY—Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just after midnight Thursday, crews responded to a reported house fire at 501 Wallace in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.. On arrival crews reported heavy smoke and fire from the rear of a single-story vacant home.
Interior operations were initiated using multiple handlines. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire will be investigated by KCFD. Dangerous Buildings and City Planning were requested to the scene.
