DADE COUNTY —A Missouri teen died in an accident just after 11a.m. Saturday in Dade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Yamaha 350 ATV driven by a 15-year-old Joplin girl was eastbound on Dade 52 six miles north of Greenfield. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
The teen driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced deceased at the scene and was transported to the Greenfield Funeral Chapel. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
