CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after noon Sunday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevy S10 driven by a 69-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man was northbound on Interstate 35 one and one half miles south of Lathrop.
The pickup rear-ended a 2024 Nissan Altima driven by a 57-year-old Cary, Illinois, man who had slowed for traffic. After impact the Chevy continued northbound and rear-ended a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 71-year-old Fayetteville, Arkansas woman.
Tri-County EMS transported the pickup driver to Liberty Hospital. The other drivers were not injured. The pickup driver was also not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
