PETTIS COUNTY —Authorities are investigating a small plane crash that occurred Friday in Sedalia.
The city of Sedalia reported the plane crashed at the Sedalia Regional Airport. The aircraft involved is not owned or operated by the City of Sedalia.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported and no fire associated with the incident.
Emergency responders and airport personnel were quickly on scene and worked together to ensure the area was secured and the situation was handled safely.
"We are grateful for the swift response from first responders and relieved that no one was hurt." The FAA and NTSB will investigate. Authorities reported no additional details.
