ATCHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Wednesday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Honda motorcycle driven by a 28-year-old St. Joseph man was westbound on U.S. 136 at Route J two and one half miles east of Rock Port. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the north side of the road, overturned and the driver was ejected.
Atchison-Holt Ambulance transported the driver to Fairfax Hospital. He was wearing helmet, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
