Joan Marie Robison, the daughter of Donald Elmer and Joan Marie (VanWagner) Sulk, was born December 13, 1967, in Middlesex, New Jersey. She attended Independence High School, Independence, West Virginia.
In 2003, Joan was united in marriage to Mark Robison in Oregon, Missouri.
Joan was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for Oregon Care Center and later Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri for numerous years. Due to health concerns, she later retired.
Joan was a member of the Pleasant View Resident Council, serving as President. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and squirrels. She especially loved visiting with friends and family. Joan passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 58.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband, Mark Robison; children, Dustin and Carrol Lockhart, Brian and Alex (Tasha) Pfeil; grandchildren, Alexzander, Kayleigh, Mason, Aiden, and Millie Lockhart; sister, Michele (Mike) Pfeil; numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life: 2:00-4:00 P.M., Friday, March 6, 2026, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Memorials: Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port, for final expenses.
