Barbara Jean Cox, 90, of Bethany, MO, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Crestview Nursing Home, Bethany, MO. Barbara Jean Williamson was born on February 4, 1935 in her parent's home in Albany, MO, the daughter of Joseph and Opal (Reed) Williamson. She graduated from Albany High School in 1953 and worked at Old American Insurance until her marriage to Isaac N. Cox in 1961. Barbara moved to Bethany and together they started CTL Farm Service in 1968, their own business, which operated until 1990, before being sold to 'Little Ike'. The Cox’s ran Commerce Park until their retirement in 2000. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Isaac; her daughters: Debbie (Charles) Moulin and Stephanie (Doug) Bryan; and grandson, Jason Cox.
She is survived by her daughter, Toni (Sage) Million, of Lebanon, MO; son, Isaac L. Cox, of Bethany; her granddaughters, Rowan Million and Kellie (Grant) Rice; and great grandchildren: Genevieve, Francesca and Viviene Rice, Quinton Cox, Maggie and Tyler Pankau.
Barbara has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
