ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. —Three people were injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Friday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Dodge Nitro driven by a 31-year-old Tarkio woman was northbound on US 59 four miles west of Westboro. The driver attempted to turn west onto Highway B. The front of the Dodge struck the front drivers side of a southbound 2020 Ford Crown Victoria driven by a 43-year-old Northboro, Iowa woman.
EMS transported the Dodge driver and her 5-year-old passenger to Fairfax Community Hospital and the Ford driver to a Shannendoah Hospital. The Dodge driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
