GRUNDY COUNTY —One person was injured inan accident just after 1:30p.m. Friday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford F150 driven by a 77-year-old Trenton man was westbound on East 28th Street at U.S. 65 in Trenton. The driver failed to yield as he turned from 28th Street onto U.S. 65. A southbound 2007 GMC Yukon driven by a 47-year-old Milan man struck the pickup in the front passenger side.
Grundy County EMS transported the pickup driver to Wright Memorial Hospital. The SUV driver was not injured despite not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
