SHAWNEE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 1:30a.m. Sunday in Shawnee County.
According to Shawnee County Sheriff Brian Hill, an ATV driven by a 63-year-old man was traveling near his residence in the 4200 Block of NE Sherman Road. The ATV rolled. Family members attempted CPR until deputies arrived. Those first responders continued lifesaving measures. Fire and medical personnel arrived, and pronounced the man deceased.
The sheriff's office has not released the man's name or additional details.
