HARRISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Monday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 GMC Sierra driven by a 56-year-old New Hampton man was eastbound on U.S. 136 in New Hampton. The driver attempted to make a left turn at West Taylor Street. He failed to yield to an eastbound 2012 Ford Escape driven by a 49-year-old Albany woman. The SUV struck the passenger side of the pickup.
EMS transported the pickup driver to an area hospital. The SUV driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
