ATICHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6a.m. Wednesday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Freightliner semi driven by a 54-year-old Grandview man was southbound on Interstate 29 at mile marker 116. The semi traveled off the west side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle returned to the road, skidded across both lanes of the highway and overturned.
EMS transported the driver to Fairfax Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
