JOHNSON COUNTY —The Overland Park Police Department needs to public’s help identifying a vehicle connected to an aggravated arson that occurred in the early morning hours of Independence Day.
Just before 2a.m. July 4, near the area of 159th Street and Quivira Road the suspect believed to have used a large firework to deliberately damage a nearby residence, according to Officer John Lacy. Investigators have released two photographs of a vehicle seen in the area at the time of the incident and believe it is directly involved.
Anyone who recognizes the vehicle, or who may have any information regarding this event, is urged to contact Detective Rison immediately at 913-244-8743. Tipsters can choose to remain anonymous.
