Garry Jean Stovall was born on August 21, 1952 in Troy, Missouri, the son of John Henry and Mary Frances (Taylor) Stovall. Garry passed away unexpectedly at his home in Northboro on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Garry's early years were spent in the Troy, Missouri community. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. In 1992 he was united in marriage to Linda Rose in Whitewater, Missouri. The couple lived in Craig, Missouri prior to moving to Northboro five years ago.
During his working years he was employed as a mechanic. He loved to visit, tell jokes, work on cars and spend time with his family. He was also quite fond of his beloved dog Penny.
He was preceded in death by his parent and a sister Gail Stovall. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 33 years, Linda Stovall; children Joe, Anthony, Angelo and Cynthia; siblings John and Judy; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As per his wishes his body will be cremated and no services will be held.
