BUCHANNAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Monday in Buchannan County.
The MSHP reported a 2022 Ford F150 driven by a 24-year-old St. Joseph man was eastbound on U.S. 36 six and one half miles east of St. Joseph. The driver failed to yield to a stationary 2025 Buchanan County Sheriff's Chevy Tahoe with emergency lights activated and driven by a 30-year-old St. Joseph woman. The pickup rear-ended the SUV.
Buchanan County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. They were both properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
