LYON COUNTY —Law enforcement continue investigating alleged arson in Lyon County.
Just after 9p.m. July 5, a sheriff's deputy responded to the Fire Station at 204 W Bitler Street in the city of Olpe, Lyon County Kansas for a report of criminal damage, according Lyon County Deputy Deputy Sarah Werle.
Upon arrival road debris was discovered consistent with fireworks. The fire house and the city maintenance building sustained broken glass, burns, and dents. It was believed to occur the night of July 4, by an unknown person/party. Police released no additional details.
